A lot of people are having an issue with the brand new EA Gameface system where you get the "Server Not Responding" Issue.

After a lot of messing around we have managed to get around this error.

If you are using Windows XP, you will need to view the following path:

c:\Documents and Settings\<your windows user name>\Application Data\EA\EASW\GameFace

If you do not have the EA folder you just need to create them, once you have created \EA\EASW\GameFace and try to remake your gameface it should now work

It's now no longer necessary for those looking for xbox 360 homebrew games to download them from some illegal or dangerous P2P site or something similar. In their infinite wisdom, Microsoft are beginning to release the best of the homebrew titles for download over the XBLA, or Xbox Live Arcade, which is very welcome development for any would-be games programmers. At last games programmers have a way of getting their talent noticed!

We know that some people want to be able to use the NXE (New Xbox Experience) but don't have Xbox Live or the internet at home but you can do this without having a great setup and all you need is a USB memory stick.

So how do I do it?

1. First of all you will need to download the file here ( NXE Download )

2. Once this has downloaded you need to extract all of the files

3. Copy the folder onto your memory stick so that $SystemUpdate is in the root directory (not in a folder)

4. Plug the USB drive into the Xbox 360 Console while it is turned off and then turn the console on

5. Let the console boot up and choose "Install Update" when prompted.

The Xbox 360 Console will then update it's self and then you now have the NXE installed and ready to go.
